“But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere”.

By the standard of Merriam-Webster, the definition of an Apprentice is an inexperienced person who is learning practical experience under highly trained and skilled workers, whether via trade, art, or calling. In Jesus’ time, you can call the twelve disciples, followers of Jesus Christ. Each of them had their issues before following Christ and still had much growing and understanding to achieve. Eleven out of the twelve, took up their cross, and followed Jesus. I am sure many times, some of them felt doubtful, but ultimately, they never gave up gaining the wisdom and knowledge of the Word of God

As the Scripture above says in James 3:17, wisdom holds attributes of purity, peace, gentleness, reason, mercy, impartiality and good fruits. If we are to learn and walk the ways of Christ, we cannot give up and we are to consistently display characteristics of wisdom. Along the way, as we further our relationship with God, and upon receiving Jesus Christ as our Savior, there will be bumps and bruises. But as the Word of God declares in Proverbs 24:16, “for though a righteous man falls seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes”.

Father in the name of Jesus, we honor you today oh God!! You woke us up again and we did not need assistance in bathing, dressing, feeding, and preparing ourselves for the day! Father God we praise you for Your Wisdom!! Father God we want to walk in the footsteps of Jesus and walk with diligence in the fullness of Your Wisdom! Only fools despise wisdom!

God we do not want to be grouped in the same categories of those who do not seek to grow in the knowledge of Your Word. Father we are chasing Your wisdom. We are chasing purity and peace. We are chasing the spirit of gentleness, reason and mercy. We are chasing sincerity God!

Father God we praise You in advance for what You have already done! We declare today God to forever seek and chase after Your ways and Your Wisdom! We Love You today oh God!

We close this prayer in Your Son Jesus Name, Amen.
