๐ฏ๐๐ ๐พ๐ธ: โKeep It Movingโ
Many blue moons ago, I was a member of the track and cross-country teams in both high school and college. During my junior year in high school, I remember at a particular track meet, Coach McRae pulled me from the 800-meter run and stated he needed me to do the 1600-meter run instead. I remember feeling so nervous because I had never competed in this race. However, I trusted my training and trusted my coach. Needless to say, I did well. At the next track meet, Coach McRae told me he wanted to try me in the 2,000-meter run. And again, I continued to do better with the longer distance races.
In college, while running in events such as the 3,000-meter and 5,000-meter run, whenever I wanted to stop, take a break, or give up, I remembered to breathe as trained and allow the form of my run to allow me to float. In track, if you stop and start, stop and start, you lose your rhythm and flow.
In life there are and will be many obstacles, challenges, courses, hardships, break-ups, disappointments, rejections, and upsets. However, you cannot stop. You cannot quit. It is the enemyโs plan to distract you from the mission.
As I write these daily blogs, I am often encountered by small attacks from the enemy. And honestly, some days I say to myself, โHow can I write when this or that just happenedโ? But, I hear the Spirit of the Lord encouraging me. I hear the spirit saying, โMoni this is the PERFECT time to write and inspire someone elseโ!
I encourage you to stay as close to God as possible. Read your bible and use a study tool to guide your understanding. Before you complete your daily reading, always ask God to grant you supernatural wisdom and understanding. You never want to read just to be reading. You want to study the Word of God with purpose. Studying with purpose will make it applicable in many other areas of your life.
Remember the track story? When we stop, we lose our rhythm. Keep your personal relationship with God consistent. Donโt stop studying, praying, or communicating with the Father. Sister and brother, keep going, keep pushing and keep it moving.
Father in the name of Jesus, help us to keep it moving, even when we donโt feel like it. Father Your Word says in Philippians 4:13, โI can do all things through Him who gives me strengthโ. Father God we lean on your Word and the promise of Your strength to make us strong. Likewise, in Ecclesiastes 9:11 it says, โI have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them allโ. Father God strengthen us as we fight to the end. We will face battles but we fight to the end knowing the war is won by the army of the Lord.
We love You God and we praise You for loving us more than we love ourselves. Thank You Lord for Your mercy. It is truly a day to day blessing.
Itโs in Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
