𝒯𝑜𝓅𝒾𝒸: "Okay to Not be Okay"
𝒢𝑜𝑜𝒹 𝑀𝑜𝓇𝓃𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓉𝑜 𝒴𝑜𝓊,
I have (5) questions for you:
1. How are you feeling today?
2. How did you rest last night?
3. Have you had any bad days?
4. How did you recover?
5. Did you know it was okay, to not be okay?
There is a scripture that relates to this subject matter. James 1: 2-5 reads, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you".
This scripture reminds us that we will definitely experience ups and downs, good days and bad days, happy times and sad times. However, we are to rest in the comfort of knowing that it won't break us. It however, will make us stronger. Each trial. Each challenge. Each barrier. Each delay. Each were already predestined in building your journey and most importantly, your character. Sometimes, it's the reaction for God. He wants to know, when you are crying, hurting, or pouring, if you will still praise His holy name. Trust God in your darkest of seasons and on your worse days. Remember, thunder only happens when it's raining. The storm will cease and won't last. It has to let up eventually. How would you ever know what a GREAT day felt like if you never experienced a bad one?
Father in the name of Jesus, I pray for every hurt, broken, or lost soul today. Father I pray that they will count it all joy when they are experiencing those various trials. Father, You know first hand what we are feeling and it does not make you feel good when we are hurting. Father God, You sent Your Son Jesus Christ and He felt the same ups, downs, and disappointments as us. However, He lead the way. He set the example. He also showed us how to manage through those times. Father God use this blog to encourage someone and lift someone. Use this blog to save at least one person. Father God we give You all the praise, all the glory and all the honor.
It's in Jesus name we pray. Amen.
