𝒯𝑜𝓅𝒾𝒸: But Grace!

𝒢𝑜𝑜𝒹 𝐸𝓋𝑒𝓃𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓉𝑜 𝒴𝑜𝓊,

Before I go to bed tonight, I wanted to pen this entry....

As usual, while I'm in the shower, I listen to praise and worship. And for some reason, I was just so deep in thought and prayer (and my feelings). However, I could feel the Holy Ghost guide me to turn to the Word of God, just as I was struggling with some emotion. In hesitancy, I asked God, what is it that you want to say to "ME" on a Saturday? (As if God can't speak on Saturday's). When we're moody, we definitely don't want to open our bibles. 😂

Sidebar: Please don't judge me y'all. I too am human and I struggle just as much as the next person. But because I was in my flesh, the Spirit of God had to take my hand and lead me back.

Okay. Now that's out of the way, let me get back to what's important.

Ephesians 2:5(b) says, "But by grace you have been saved." (Thank You Lord)!!

What exactly is grace? So glad you asked. Because God loves you and I so much, Grace is simply an extension of God's love that gives us what we don't deserve. (Not to be confused with Mercy).

Some people look at Grace and Mercy as one in the same. However, they are fraternal twins and not identical. Mercy basically doesn't give us what we DO deserve and Grace gives us what we do NOT deserve.

The beginning chapters of the Book of Ephesians reminds us of redemption. Because of the perfect and satisfactory sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross, His act freed us from bondage. His sacrifice allowed deliverance as an option for every believer, upon our acceptance of Him (Jesus).

To be specific and to the point, this entry is about Salvation. For example, Salvation can be viewed as grabbing a child chasing a ball from the immediate danger of a passing car at nearly the point of impact. Jesus' innocent blood (that was shed) made salvation possible for the both of us.

Jesus put forth the action; only your response is required to complete the formula. Will you accept Jesus Christ as your personal redeemer? Do you know how to enter into the gates of Heaven? The Bible tells us there is only one way.

Look at John 14:6. It reads, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Repent / Confess your sins to God. Accept His Son, simply by believing in Him. Accept the sacrifice Jesus made for you over 2,000 years ago. Turn from your wicked ways and walk a path of righteousness. It's a journey and you must take it one day at a time. NO ONE said it will be easy but You got this!! Join a Bible teaching church to help you along the way. Read and study your Bible Daily. Last but not least, TRUST GOD!!

Father God in the name of Jesus, we thank You for the Son. Our Redeemer. Our Hope. Our Salvation. Thank You for Jesus. Thank You for the slain Lamb. Father we thank You for Your grace and mercy. Father we thank you for not giving us what we deserve. We love You.

It's in Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
