𝒮𝒸𝓇𝒾𝓅𝓉𝓊𝓇𝑒: Isaiah 40:28
𝒯𝑜𝓅𝒾𝒸: "Disappointment is Temporary: Joy is Coming"
Scripture: Isaiah 40:28
"Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; His understanding is unsearchable"...
1 Peter 2:6b
"Whoever believes in me shall not be put to shame"...
Let me cut to the chase, Disappointment, Rejection, No's, Not Yet, or even a "Delayed" Yes hurts immensely, especially when your hopes were set high on something you greatly desired.
And someone might say, "Well if God is so Good, and I'm doing everything right, why did I not get that job promotion"?
"Why was I not approved for that Mortgage"?
"Why does it seem like I have a delay in relationships and everyone around me "appears" to be thriving"?
"God why does it feel like I'm on the receiving end of Disappointment ALL THE TIME"?
"God what is happening"?
Go back to the Scripture up top 👆and zone in on the "His understanding is Unsearchable" part....
In the natural sense, I (Monica) can't tell you exactly why we must face tremendous disappointment and what we feel are earthly setbacks. But Supernaturally, what I can confirm through Scripture 📖 is that God Sees All. God Knows All. God is the Beginning. God is the Ending. God is Alpha and He is also the Omega. His Wisdom FAR exceeds the smartest Genius on this planet. Our minds would explode with what God knows. We cannot contain the mystery of God.
Remember, God sees what's ahead for us. And Soooo many times, He is saving us from ourselves. The wrong job promotion may run you into ground. The wrong Home Purchase or Mortagage may cause you to go housebroke. Or maybe the location or placement is outside of where God has you planted in the Supernatural.
That relationship you were trying to force saved you from the greatest red flag 🚩 of your life. We don't know. But God knows. And understand, what the enemy meant for your bad, God turned that thing around Boo, for Your Good (Romans 8:28).
I Know it Hurts. I've been Rejected ❌, Turned Down, Told I'm over-qualified 🤔 or not qualified enough, Told No, Not Yet, and even Not Now, throughout my life. I've cried. I've pleaded with God. But I always trusted His will for my life.
Father in the name of Jesus, we cry out to you Oh God, as King David would cry 😭 out to you in his distress. Disappointment and unexpected delays hurts really bad in the moment. Sometimes we fall to our knees God and ask "Why, Why, Why".
But God, we trust YOUR plan. Even though it doesn't make sense to us now. When David and his men realized all of their wives, children, and everything they loved were taken captive, he cried out too in anguish. But he yet consulted You oh God.
Father, help us to Trust Your Process when it seems like all else is failing. Father give us Your Supernatural Strength and Wisdom to see past the natural delays. Father help us to know that a delay is not always a denial. And even in the midst of a "No" (Daughter or Son), we accept Your answer, nevertheless.
Father I ask that this prayer will encourage someone to get up off of the floor or to get out of that bed. Someone has been sulking in disappointment far too long. But Father I know, Greater IS on the other side. Father God help them to know You have the whole world 🌎 in Your Hands 🙌 and there is no Greater Love ❤️ than Yours. You know what's best for us.
As I close this prayer God, I want to thank You for the Ultimate Sacrifice, Jesus the Christ.
Father, when I am feeling disappointed 😢 and broken, it's the name of Jesus that I continuously call upon. Father, I hope that someone reading this will also learn to call on the name of Jesus.
We Love You Father! In Jesus Name, Amen.
